When prepared proper...I love a fried egg sandwich. When prepared properly (fried over medium in bacon grease), it is one of life's great pleasures. Last week I really outdid myself with the fried egg sammy I made. It included two pieces of toasted and buttered Sara Lee Multigrain bread, one perfect fried egg, two slices of bacon, mushrooms and onions sauteed in the bacon grease, and a couple slices of smoked gruyere. I also love fried eggs and grits. Have a great weekend and take it easy on the bacon grease. I hear that stuff isn't so good for you.
